Canadian-Made FAT TRUCK® Continues to Expand in the Defence Sector

Canadian manufacturer Zeal Motor continues to strengthen the role of FAT TRUCK® technology within the defence sector.

Originally developed to meet the needs of mining and power-transmission customers, FAT TRUCK® vehicles have since expanded into communications, security, search-and-rescue and defence applications.

Zeal Motor began working with the Canadian Armed Forces through an Innovative Solutions Canada initiative. As part of that work, FAT TRUCK® vehicles were evaluated in demanding Arctic conditions.

The testing contributed to additional opportunities in the defence sector and helped demonstrate the vehicle’s potential for use in remote and extreme environments.

Zeal Motor has continued to expand its production and innovation capabilities in Quebec to support future growth.

The development of FAT TRUCK® within the defence sector demonstrates the growing role of Canadian-made specialized vehicle technology in military, Arctic and remote operations.

For RufDiamond customers, this continued development reinforces the capabilities of FAT TRUCK® as a platform designed for some of the most demanding operating environments.
