FAT TRUCK® Takes on the Columbia Icefield

FAT TRUCK® has demonstrated its versatility in one of Canada’s most remarkable environments: the Columbia Icefield in the Canadian Rockies.

The vehicle was used as part of the Ice Odyssey experience on the Athabasca Glacier, where small groups travelled across snow, ice and rugged alpine terrain that conventional vehicles cannot easily access.

Designed for demanding environments, the FAT TRUCK® provided a highly capable platform for navigating the glacier while offering guests a more intimate way to experience the Columbia Icefield.

The Ice Odyssey experience accommodated small groups of up to 10 guests and provided access to an exclusive site on the Athabasca Glacier.

The application demonstrates how FAT TRUCK® technology can extend well beyond industrial and emergency-response operations. Its ability to travel across snow, ice, rocky terrain and other difficult surfaces makes it suitable for a wide range of specialized applications.

From mining and utilities to tourism, emergency response and remote transportation, FAT TRUCK® continues to demonstrate its versatility in environments where conventional vehicles may have difficulty operating.
